The school has an enrolment zone, which governs admissions to the school. If you live within the zone boundary your child has a right to attend Albany School. If you are a resident outside the zone, then an application will need to be made under the Balloting Provisions as covered by the Education Amendment Act. Details of this procedure are available at the school office.
Parents should note that the scheme is reviewed each year and the boundaries may be subject to review at this time, depending on the circumstances that prevail. Examples that may cause change are the number of pupils the actual site can hold or a new school opening in the area.
All students who live within the home zone described below shall be entitled to enrol at the school.
The Albany School home zone:
Proof of residence within the home zone is required by supplying two separate forms of documentation eg lease agreement, purchase agreement, telephone account or rates account upon enrolment.
