New Entrant Classroom Teacher Term 3

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, digitally fluent, highly competent classroom teacher to join our innovative and collaborative team.
The successful applicant must demonstrate highly effective communication and behaviour management strategies, and the ability to foster positive relationships that are focused on high expectations, mutual respect, wellbeing and children’s progress; being central to daily interactions.
We also highly value strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills, a growth mindset, a deep understanding of inclusive education and teaching techniques, and sound knowledge of the NZ curriculum and assessment pedagogies.
Any experience with structured literacy and maths approaches would be beneficial.
Our new entrant class will start in Term 3, start date to be confirmed, and we will require the successful applicant to attend some new entrant visits.
This is a fixed-term position for a new entrant class until the end of the year.
Applicants must have a NZ teacher registration and must have current visa/documentation to currently reside in NZ.
